Michael Wissot is considered one of the leading voices and future leaders in California politics. He also serves as an adjunct professor of communication at Pepperdine University, as well as a political analyst and guest host for KABC talk radio. From 1999 to 2002, Wissot served at the helm of Dentistry.com, a leading Internet company that specializes in information-based services for patients and dental professionals. Dentistry.com, to this day, offers the most comprehensive online referral services for patients and dentists nationwide.
Wissot worked for United States Senator John McCain (R-AZ) in both Washington DC and Phoenix. His legislative duties for Senator McCain and the Senate Committee for Commerce, Science, and Transportation included the moratorium on Internet taxation, the deregulation of the telecommunication/cable industry, and the curbing of corruption in professional boxing.
His background in the sports entertainment industry is highlighted by stints with the San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, and Insight Bowl. Wissot's public relations expertise was fostered through a challenging agenda at Hill and Knowlton in New York, handling several high profiled companies.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University, a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Arizona, and a Master of International Management degree from Thunderbird.
